We will look for what we can find along the way to become part of our art project that we will do on return to the centre. I wonder what we will find? What will we see to admire along the way? We can use whatever we find in nature to become part of our project or use to create. Leaves to make a crown, use a branch to paint, seeds, paint a rock, flowers, bark, create a fairy wand, a natural Christmas wreath. The imagination is endless!

Examples will be provided for those that are stuck for ideas, but the whole process will be open ended and creativity is encouraged. A time to explore the senses and appreciate nature.

Children will have the opportunity to sit down with others to explore their thoughts, feelings and dreams for their near and far future plans. We will begin with some quiet time in mindfulness together to get to know each other and create a safe space for expression. We will follow with a discussion about dreams, fears and steps to get to future plans and some time to brainstorm these ideas. Children will commence creating a dream board on canvas using a range of materials for drawing, painting, collage to provide a visual memory to take home.
